1. Interface - I honestly have not seen more beautiful interface - the swipe technology, the color graphics, the design of the menus and the sub-menus, the organization of applications - everything in this new software just makes me wanna buy the device at this very second.
2. Multitasking - have heard of a multitasking phone the main purpose of which is MULTITASKING itself? You have not because you have not heard of Nokia N9 - this is the best multitasking phone ever made thanks to the MeeGo platform. Thanks to perfect compatibility with hardware, MeeGo allows you to open all your applications - and still run them all at perfect performance.
3. Browsing - I am out of words, this has been the best mobile browsing experience I have ever had the chance to experience. The light software leaves room to processor which speeds up the browsing in times as compared to rival products n the market.
4. More?! Yes there is more - inbuilt applications for sharing, stunning music player, the most fascinating GPS system I have seen and many many more that you would need to see for yourself.

Good Old Days of Windows Mobile

As you might already be aware that the computing devices, including computers, tablets, and phones require an operating system (OS) to allow you to interact with them and use them. These operating systems vary in terms of their features, robustness, networking capabilities, hardware support and thereby, the market share. In terms of the market share in the current age of desktop computing, Microsoft has been the leading player ever since it launched its command-line based operating system, MS-DOS.

Success of MS-DOS was multiplied by its Windows operating system that brought the concept of a GUI (Graphic User Interface) based operating system to every home based PC user. Microsoft also introduced revolutionary mobile based operating systems, such as Windows CE, Pocket PC, and Windows Mobile series. The Windows Mobile operating system remained a choice of the high-end and tech-savvy users of PDAs (Personal Digital Assistant) and smartphones for quite a while as well. This was also the time of Palm OS for PDAs and Symbian OS for most of the normal mobile phones.

However, before these high-end wireless telephony devices started fitting well in the budget range of a normal mobile phone user, several prominent vendors started popping up in the market. Apple and Google have been the two most prevelant players that launched their own operating systems for mobile phones viz. iOS and Android respectively.

Now that owning these devices is not limited to people who earn too well or are in lucrative Biomedical Science Jobs, you can see almost everyone sporting a cool and stylish touchscreen or QWERTY-based smartphone. The bitter reality, however, is that other newer operating systems are better than Windows Mobile operating system due to their ease-of-use, nice user interfaces, robustness and have a great followership amongst the programmers as well. Microsoft’s proprietary software Windows Mobile has been marked as an operating system that is difficult to use and even more difficult to program for. This is why the number of applications available for Windows Mobile is far less than that for iPhone or the Android phones.

Tablet Devices – Cool And All But Is It Really Useful?

Every now and then, the world of technology gets so caught up with its own achievements that it forgets that the customer is the final authority. Take the recent hype surrounding tablet devices. The general perception is that tablet devices have been invented as the next logical development after cell phones. Well, tablet devices have been around before cell phones were invented. Do you remember those electronic calculator cum organizers? Well, the logic underlying tablet devices is a pretty much the same.

The only difference now is that the touch screen facility makes the entire experience a lot cooler. So, should you go in for a tablet device? Well, why don’t you going for a digital display printing device while you are considering tablet devices. Surprised? What are you going to do with a digital display printing device? Well, what are you going to do with a tablet device? You have a cell phone, a music player, a laptop and a desktop computer.

What on earth are you going to do with a tablet device that you cannot do with all these devices put together? Sure, carrying all these devices around can be difficult. Well, who says you have to carry a music player when you are carrying a laptop? Who says you have to carry your laptop for checking your mail when you have a smart phone with a wireless internet connection built into the same?

So, why are tablet devices becoming so popular? There is a market for such devices. The important thing is to check whether you are part of the market or not. If not, then you will simply end up with a device that looks very cool but is of no use whatsoever. Sooner or later, your budget will crack and you will stop buying such stuff. That is when the world of technology will realize that mere hype will not suffice unless the product is actually useful for the masses.

At such times, you should be prepared to keep your cool. This is why interviewer might create a stressful situation during the interview and expects the candidate to handle the stress pretty well.

Teamwork

You might need to give examples of how well you blend with the other people in the team or across the teams, thus minimize the possibilities of conflicts. Most I.T. jobs require interactions with several people and that’s why teamwork is an important quality.
